Everything about Tournai Constituency totally explainedTournai was a former constituency of the Parliament of England.
The French (now Belgian) city of Tournai was under English rule from 23 September 1513 until it was returned to France in 1519. During part of that time it was represented in the Parliament of England by two members.
An election is known to have taken place in about December 1513. It isn't clear if there was any election for the next Parliament in 1515, but that would have been the last opportunity for this community to be represented in the English House of Commons.
